Break Free from Patterns – Coaching for Real Change

As a coach, I help you gain the insights you need to break free from unhelpful patterns. Together, we explore what you truly want, where your pitfalls lie, and how to regain control over your work and life. I provide you with practical tools and strategies—not just to dream about change, but to actually make it happen.

Because knowing who you are, what drives you, and what holds you back is the key to personal growth. I believe you already have everything within you to become stronger, more authentic, and happier—you just need to uncover it.

The good news? There is always a way forward. If you’re willing to reflect on your own behavior and invest in yourself, new possibilities will open up. Maybe you can change something, learn to accept things as they are, or even let go of what no longer serves you. But what is the right choice for you? And how do you take that first step?

As a behavioral change coach, certified by NOBCO (the Dutch Order of Professional Coaches), I guide you through this journey with a holistic approach—looking at your questions from both a mental and physical perspective.

More Than Just Talking

In our sessions, we go beyond conversation. Using physical (breath) exercises, systemic constellations, and visualizations, we bring your challenges to life—so you don’t just understand them, but truly feel them. Often, your body already knows what’s going on, even when your mind is still trying to rationalize it.

Who Is This Coaching For?

✔️ Those seeking personal growth and transformation on both a practical and deeper level.

✔️ People who feel stuck and are open to exploring both the mental and physical aspects of their well-being.

✔️ Professionals looking for more balance between work and personal life, wanting to reduce stress, or searching for deeper purpose.

Ready to take the first step? Let’s find the way forward together.

Why coaching?

Why Coaching?

Sound familiar? You’re not alone.

Do you keep getting stuck in the same patterns? Maybe you struggle with self-doubt, stress, or finding a healthy work-life balance. It’s frustrating—I get it. Especially when you feel like you’re giving so much but not really moving forward.

But let’s be honest: if you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting the same results. And that’s not what you want, right?

You’re not alone in this struggle. Many professionals face similar challenges, such as:

Uncertainty about choicesAm I in the right job? Is this really what I want?

Stress and pressure to performYou set high standards, want to do everything perfectly, but it’s exhausting.

Lack of balanceJuggling work, social life, and personal growth feels overwhelming.

Recurring patternsYou keep ending up in the same situations and don’t know how to break free.

These challenges can feel heavy, but you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.

Coaching Helps You Move Forward

A good conversation can bring clarity, but real change happens when you’re willing to dig deeper. Coaching is for those who are ready to challenge themselves, reflect on their actions, and embrace growth.

Do You Recognize Yourself in Any of These?

✔️ I long for more inner peace.

✔️ I experience stress-related physical symptoms.

✔️ I want to communicate more effectively.

✔️ I need a boost in my energy levels.

✔️ I want to feel less easily attacked or criticized.

If any of these resonate with you, coaching might be exactly what you need to create real change. Let’s work together to help you achieve your goals and transform your life in a positive way.

When Do You Need a Breath Consultation?

Personal and Practical 1-on-1 Advice

My mission? To inspire, motivate, and equip you with practical breathing tools for a healthier, calmer, and happier life. Feeling stuck with your breathing and need clarity right away? Then a breath consultation is exactly what you need.

What Is a Breath Consultation?

A breath consultation is a 1-on-1 session (online or in-person) where you can openly discuss your questions, doubts, or goals. No vague theories—just clear, actionable insights and advice that you can immediately apply.

I’ll share my knowledge and experience to guide you in the right direction:

✅ Which breathing techniques suit you best

✅ How your breath can improve your health

✅ What a connected breathing session is

✅ Practical tips for stress, sleep issues, or burnout

Often, one session provides enough tools to move forward. A breath consultation is typically a one-time session, but you’re always welcome to book more if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions:

🔹 Is breathwork right for me? And which type suits me best?

🔹 Which breathing techniques help with stress, anxiety, or fatigue?

🔹 What are simple ways to improve my breathing in daily life?

🔹 How can I use my breath to boost my overall health and fitness?

Whatever your question may be, we’ll find the answer that fits you.

How does coaching in English work?

For the intake, I’ll send you a form with a few relevant questions.

You could compare the intake with an (in-depth) interview, giving me an idea of who you are, what your issue is, and how you deal with it.

First of all, we’ll determine and formulate the goal you want to work on. Based on that, we’ll set up an agreement. It is important that we feel a connection and can start the process in a relaxed manner.

During the coaching sessions, the focus is on your issues. By asking questions and discovering what you are up against and which steps you’ve already taken, we will gain insight into your behavioral patterns and obstructing thoughts, that we can then tackle.

On avarage, it takes 5 coaching sessions (not including the intake). Sessions are 75 minutes each and take place every other week. In between sessions, you work with your new insights and goals.

During the process, we look at what you need to reach your goal. The process isn’t done until you have reached your goal and are happy with the result. This can require fewer or more than 5 sessions.

The work method is very thorough, and with a good sense of humor. In the end, Wendy ensures that you can come up with many answers. Flexible and resolute. Gets to the core. The coaching process is very well put together and therefore very professional. Clarity about what will be worked on and taking this step by step. Also flexible enough to tackle subjects that come up during the process.

REFERENCES COACHEE

Wendy has a sharp analytical view of things, is direct in a good way, and confronting when necessary, without giving pre-chewed answers. What I mean by that is that she helps you to analyze yourself. She doesn’t do it for you, you have to do it yourself. Getting insights by yourself. She will just help you to go in the right direction. She asks a lot of open questions and stimulates you to think about answers yourself.

The route to take is a very personal ride. What I noticed is that Wendy mostly let me figure it out myself. She is to the point and will not beat around the bush. What is the real problem here, and the figuring it out after. Wendy tries to look for the deeper problem, instead of just staying on the surface. The involvement is high but also professional and there is little time for small talk. That’s okay but also makes the sessions very intense.

REFERENCES COACHEE

Wendy’s involvement was very big, warm, and compassionate. She made me aware of the problem. We had very diverse conversations during the sessions. I felt at ease with Wendy very quickly. This caused some conversations about subjects I didn’t even know where issues. The profit that Wendy helped me to gain is that for every decision I see that I have a choice and have to make it myself.

REFERENCES COACHEE

Wendy is goal-oriented, client-oriented, and solution-oriented, and she does that calmly and collectedly. She put me at ease quickly. She asks to-the-point questions and that waits patiently for answers. She took me very seriously. But often we could also have a light conversation and make jokes.

Coaching by Wendy has made me more aware and I started looking at myself more and that helped me to make an important step more quickly, I feel.

REFERENCES COACHEE

I think Wendy has a wonderful mix of being involved, to the point, and analytical. She could point out the problem in a razor-sharp way. It started low-key; I thought we would be able to fix the issues quickly together. But I quickly discovered old mechanisms under the problems I experienced. Wendy sorted those out very quickly by the questions she asked. Wendy did so in exactly the right way, without digging too deep, but enough to experience it.

I wanted more satisfaction and serenity in my work as an entrepreneur. I reached that goal. Now I get more joy out of my work, and at the same time I became more professional.

REFERENCES COACHEE

I know Wendy as an honest, warm, and involved person with a great commitment to everything she does. Wendy lets you think for yourself with the questions she asked you and the things she lets you do. She uses different disciplines and perspectives which help you to gain new insights quickly about your own behavior. Because of my ADD, it turned out to be difficult to coach me in the ‘regular’ way so we decided together that I will be looking for (more) specialized help. I have experienced plenty of coaches who just let you muck about. She immediately gave me a suggestion that I can follow.

I am pretty happy with the exercises we did and the planning framework we made together still helps me every day.

REFERENCES COACHEE

Wendy listens well, is professional, and pleasant. She seems genuinely interested and made me feel at ease during the whole process. This created trust and I also think this resulted in a better outcome of the process.

What stood out most about the coaching process is that I learned a few things about myself that I didn’t know yet. That was a positive surprise about the coaching process. Usefull and educational.

From Hustle to Inner Calm: My Journey to Self-Awareness and Growth

As a young adult, I was always on the move, always busy. My career was a series of new challenges, constantly pushing forward. But that hard work and crossing my boundaries led me to burn out, bore-out, and stress—I knew them all. Still, I kept going, searching for recognition and fulfillment. It wasn’t until my maternity leave after having my second daughter that I truly paused: What did I really want?

Acting, a long-held dream, became the beginning of my transformation. Through method acting, I learned to feel—really feel. My journey led me to training in acting, working with groups, and eventually coaching courses. There, I discovered not only tools to help others but also insights into myself. I began to understand why I always pushed my limits, why I sought validation, and why vulnerability felt so foreign. This process has made me softer, more content, and more resilient.

Growth is what it’s all about.

Growth is the core of everything for me. I want everyone to have the opportunity to grow and make progress. Because when you know your values, you have a compass. It gives you direction, focus, and calm. I believe in practical tools and insights that resonate with you, so you can make changes from within.

Through systemic coaching, I help you explore where your patterns come from and what you need to move forward. Alongside profound self-awareness, I’ll teach you communication skills that can serve as strong pillars in your repertoire. Whether it’s setting clear boundaries, communicating with respect, or better understanding your emotions, you’ll gain tools that you can apply immediately.

Breathing and vitality as the foundation.

Breathing more calmly, feeling more vital, and reducing stress—that’s what I’m also passionate about. Breathing is a powerful tool to increase focus and boost energy. Together, we’ll work towards more calm, clarity, and happiness—from the inside out.
